Pizza and Children

The first pizza baked from our new horno turned out to be absolutely delicious.  We also roasted chiles and flat bread.  Our attempt to also fire pottery was not so successful!!

Our monthly potluck was well attended by volunteers, customers and neighbors.

Thank you Pablo for helping us build a beautiful horno.

This morning, we hosted children from the Waldorf Wee Spirit Nursery.  They will be visiting the farm every week.  We harvested eggs, carrots and tomatoes.  Thank you kids for blessing our bees and plants!

Many parents come with their children to buy produce at our farm stands.

We now have a portable sound system to play music in the garden.  DJ Zibadaya here at the controls...

Design by Nature...

As of Sept. 15, our farm stand will be opened from 8:00am-12:00pm.  We can always use extra hands for harvest and weeding in the morning.  Come play farmer with us and take home some fresh produce, or earn Time Bank dollars if you are on Time Bank.

A regular volunteer is needed to process our Food Depot compost donation on Tuesdays after 3PM. Volunteers take produce home for their effort.
